An observation outing led by a Park ornithologist, starting at dawn from the trail car park and walking to the hides on the lake. The activity is one of waiting and silence: you stay still, you watch, you learn to recognise species by shape and behaviour before colour.
Depending on the season you may see groups of greater flamingos, spoonbills, great and grey herons, cormorants and a remarkable variety of ducks. Binoculars are provided for those without.
Telescope and binoculars provided by the Park. Neutral clothing, closed waterproof shoes. Suitable from ten years old. Maximum fifteen participants.
