Associazione Il Fortino – San Felice Circeo
Associazione Il Fortino, founded in San Felice Circeo in 1987, a non-partisan, non-profit association, has been active in the Circeo area for almost forty years. Among its statutory aims is to work for the “safeguarding, protection and best use of the natural, landscape, cultural, architectural and archaeological heritage of Circeo”.
Its Statute also provides for promoting knowledge of and respect for natural beauty, fostering a balanced relationship between people and the environment, and supporting activities that improve tourist hospitality by raising its quality.
In keeping with these aims, within Circeo Experience the Association acts as the proposing body responsible for the initiative, handling overall coordination, knowledge and documentation of the territory, the collection and verification of content, and relations with associations, guides, experts, operators and any other parties involved.
Apptron S.r.l. – Technology partner
Apptron S.r.l., registered in the special section of the Italian Companies Register for innovative start-ups, is a company specialised in the design and development of innovative software, applications and digital architectures, with expertise in data integration and management, web systems, automation and applications of artificial intelligence.
Within Circeo Experience, Apptron acts as technology partner and is responsible for the design and software development of the platform, its infrastructure and database, georeferencing and interactive mapping, three-dimensional visualisation of the territory, multilingual features, and the maintenance and further development of the system.
The collaboration combines the local knowledge and presence of Associazione Il Fortino with technological expertise aimed at gradually turning the information gathered into a digital tool that is accessible, kept up to date and able to grow over time.
